Born and initially raised in the small town of Lorane, Oregon (population 46.5 upon her birth), Alicia was graciously blessed with an Etch-a-Sketch™ from her parents, which fueled her creativity at an eerily early age. There was, after all, not much else for her to do than play with sticks in the mud or crouch behind the outhouse while playing hide-and-seek with her make believe gnome friends and baby goat, Columbine. Some days she would be hiding for hours as neither were very good seekers.
Several years later, Alicia had a dream of coding a beautiful crimson website. In a panic to remember the content which was displayed before awaking, she spied the words "digit thirteen" in the upper-left corner. At that moment, an aspiring, young enterprise was born.
A creative person her entire life, Alicia serves as the lead graphic artist and website designer for Digit 13. She has been doing web development for over ten years and graphic design for thirteen. Whether she’s designing a corporate logo, graphical interface, or a complete custom design, Alicia’s innovative ideas along with her savvy skills and artistic flair deliver a successful project each and every time.
Alicia has also developed a knack for running into random creative people in the strangest places (see the "tree" section in Coby's bio) and has gradually gone the way of the collective.
Additionally, she is an accomplished painter whose works can be found on display in and around the greater Portland area.
